Come and enjoy a New Year’s Celebration Luncheon and Reception with your fellow Club members. You can stroll around succulent gardens and see spectacular views of Boney Ridge and the Channel Islands. The road to our house has been widened, repaved, restriped and had guard rails installed, so enjoy the ride.

This event is for Club members only and their spouse or significant other. You can pay your dues by check at the door or by credit card at malibugardenclub.org. We did not raise the dues, which are still $40 per person or $60 for a couple per year. Join up, pay your dues and enjoy the fun and seeing beautiful gardens.

Event Summary

The wind stopped for four hours so we could have a beautiful presidents luncheon and reception. Against the backdrop of our long home, we were able to sit out on our patio, nestled among our nearly 10 acres of mature Jade in full winter bloom spiked by huge mounds of Aloe sending out their spikes of bright orange.

Enjoying a luscious luncheon from Spruzzos, we were able to see with great clarity the sweeping view of Ventura County from the Channel Islands to the highest peak in the Santa Monica mountains, Boney Ridge.

To cap off our luncheon, we had a Banana Cream Pie made by Patrick Murphree with bananas from his own tree. Thank you, Patrick. It was delicious.
