The Malibu Garden Club is celebrating one of our loyalist member’s birthday.

Tom Lubisich, a World War II army veteran, is celebrating his 100th birthday in November. He and his wife, Mary, have been stanch members of the Garden Club for many years. Here are the details of the birthday party:

Place: Spruzzo Restaurant

Fix price menu; Chinese Chicken Salad, Vegetarian, Pizza, Tiramisu, and of course, a little birthday cake in honor of Tom.

Post Event Summary

The Malibu Garden Club held a memorable 100th year birthday party for member Tom Lubisich, a World War II US Army Veteran at Spruzzo Restaurant. It was so thrilling to see Tom walk into the restaurant in his USS Army fatigues with his wife, Mary. Everyone stood and clapped and cheered.

After the meal, a poem was read honoring Tom and then individuals stood and added their praise for what he had done.
