For our November event, Marilee Kuhlmann presented Pretty and Green, how to create a low water use garden.

Someone once told Marilee that a drought tolerant garden was just a dry bush, a rock and cactus and no one really wants that. Creating gardens that use 40-60% less irrigation water, garden with many plants, of many colors including, using many types of plants from perennials to succulents to grasses green has been what Marilee has found most people want. In this talk we took the mystery out of creating a pretty garden and still use less water, be green or any other color in the rainbow with the right selection of plant.
